Soraya Gommans is a Director of Chris Gommans Contracting Limited and has been an integral part of the business since day one. Working alongside her husband Chris, Soraya plays a key role in the daily operations, with a particular focus on managing the financial side of the company.

With a strong background in both civil construction and transport, Soraya has also spearheaded the growth of BBT Logistics, an independent business she owns, manages, and operates. BBT Logistics provides transport and aggregate cartage services both in support of Chris Gommans Contracting and as a standalone provider. Her leadership in developing this arm of the business has been a significant asset to the wider operation.

Soraya’s in-depth knowledge of business finance, along with her broad experience in the civil and transport sectors, makes her a highly capable and trusted leader. She is also passionate about maintaining high standards in health and safety and is always looking for opportunities to upskill and stay ahead of industry best practices.

Outside of work, Soraya is deeply committed to her family and her team. She proudly supports a number of local charities and organisations that align with her values, helping to make a positive impact in the community.
